if you're not too busy, could I request nn and oo, with tyler and evan? maybe evan does something stupid to show off and something goes wrong
nn. “You are never doing that again.”
oo. “I’m okay, aren’t I?”
Tyler wasn’t too much of a worrier, he knew his friends could handle themselves and he knew, for the most part, they were aware enough to not get themselves killed from doing something stupid.
However, Evan does love proving him wrong in the worst ways possible and Tyler had no clue ice skating could end up so bad.
It was just a small group of them; Evan, Marcel, Tyler, Brock and Brian. They all were board and needed something to do so they just agreed to meet at the local rink to enjoy an hour or two of ice skating and relaxing.
Of course, Tyler wasn’t too good on the slippery surface, especially not with the stupidstupid knife shoes on his feet, but he went in head strong because he’d never pass up an opportunity to make fun of Brock for falling on his face.
Tyler could at least balance and go slow enough to not fall over so he technically wasn’t a hypocrite for bullying Brock.
Plus, Evan did enjoy helping Tyler out whenever they went ice skating, so he knew he had someone to rely on if he needed it.
But, of course, he couldn’t rely on Evan if Evan ended up getting hurt.
He watched with a nervous glint to his eyes as Evan raced around the rink, eyes carefully following him. They were lucky enough that the rink was mostly empty so the Canadian could easily get away with a trick or two, but this seemed dangerous.
Maybe not dangerous in a ‘he’s gonna die’ kind of way, but dangerous in a ‘this fucking dumbass’ kind of way.
Evan was skating backwards, his movements fluid and smooth, he was clearly good at skating. But, he was also a little nervous. Of course, he didn’t show it. If he did, one of the guys would have talked him out of trying to do a back flip.
He smiled a bit, glancing over his shoulder, timing for when it’d be time. He had to get his balance correct, he knew that. If he didn’t then he’d end up falling and that’d... probably hurt. He winced a bit and shook his head before breathing out to calm his nerves. He’s got this!
As the time arrived he got into position, bending his knee and bring a foot all the way back before he threw it forward to help propel him up as he jumped. The landing was going to be hard- he already mentally prepared for it. The air rushed him as he flipped through the air and he could hear the shouts of his friend’s encouragements.
Then, his blade touched the ground and he knew he lost before he could even fully process it.
He didn’t land right. His balance was too far off.
His skates went back and he went down, face planting onto the floor and sliding a bit.
Tyler winced at the sight and his worry exploded. “Evan,” he called, skating towards him carefully before dropping to his knees, allowing himself to slide a little before he touched the noirette gently. “Hey, Ev? You okay?” he asked, nudging him.
Evan let out a whine and nodded before he turned his head. “Did I look cool?” he asked, voice holding a chuckle.
Tyler winced at the sight of a bloody nose and he shook his head in slight annoyance to the question. Yet, he was also happy that was the first thing he heard. It wasn’t too concerning. “You looked pretty awesome until you fell on your face,” he stated.
Evan laughed, and sat himself up, bringing his sleeve up to wipe his nose. “Yeah? I guess I’ll have to try again then,” he beamed.
Tyler pursed his lips. “No. You are never doing that again,” he stated.
“I’m okay, aren’t I?” Evan pouted, grabbing Tyler’s hand as he stood up. “So let me try one more time,” he requested, pulling the giant up to stand.
Tyler followed along, standing up with the help. “Fine,” he said, “But if you get hurt again I’m letting Brian help you up.”
