Hello Chris, I was wondering how does it feel to be part Tyrant? Any perks? and Cons?
Oh man, that's difficult question to answer, so let's see what I can do here. Honestly when I was first injected, the transition was excruciatingly painful, couple with the already sever injuries I had sustained while in the Spencer Mansion. After the initial changes had been encoded in my DNA, I felt much like a person who had just awoke from sleep after having a serious illness, it was really quite exhilarating. After growing accustomed to the differences in strength, vision, and hearing...Well to be honest it really just doesn't feel all that different from how it feels to be a healthy human.
Okay, now onto the perks. Well my strength now is really incomparable to any living creature that I can think of, in fact I often find myself using the helicopter or crates of thick steel beams as my barbells now. Another perk would be the speed with which I can move, something that would leave a cheetah or mako shark just in awe. Hell a human can't even keep tract of my movements with the naked eye, as I'm able to move faster than your mind can process information from the eye. I think that the best perk by far though would have to be the ability to recover from exhaustion and injury with astounding speed, that is not to say that it doesn't hurt though.
The increased levels of sight, sound, and smell are double-edged swords to be truthful. The speed with which a tyrant can perceive a threat is mere milliseconds, which is by far faster than any human alive can claim to do, but our eyes are incredibly sensitive to light. I was able to adapt, and am usually only bothered by sudden bright flashes, just as any normal person would. Wesker was light sensitive before his transition, so now that he is a tyrant, he really can't afford to be without his shades for long. The range of our hear isn't really easy to explain, but I can say that we are able to pick up many more pitches and tones that even the sharpest eared dog can perceive. A good scenario for explaining just how incredible that sense is, imagine being a football field's length away from someone who was panting in exertion while it was raining outside. We would not only be able to hear their breathing, but distinguish their heartbeat from the falling rain. Now onto smell. I think the best comparison I can make here is a our smell is a perfectly tuned as a great white shark's ability to detect a drop of blood in the ocean, which makes it an obvious bad thing if the area around us is flooded in an unpleasant smell.
Now, on the subject of cons, I really can't think of anything I would define as a definite con other than the half and half traits listed earlier. So I guess what I'm saying is that there are no cons to becoming a tyrant, but I still wouldn't recommend it to everyone.
