#type: mod

Hello, this is just a quick companion mod I made to be compatible with all my mods (including Step 5) and any future devs' mods! (information for devs below!) It adds a neat little menu to the game's main menu, where you can view all your downloaded mods. You must redownload the Step 3 Proposal Mod if you want it to show up in the menu!

Are you a dev and want to make your mod(s) compatible?

It's simple, in a new or existing .rpy file for your mod, just add this piece of code with your own info. (Example below)

After about two weeks of working on this silly little project, I've officially finished my first OLBA mod!!

With this mod, if you own the Step 3 DLC, if you propose to cove at the end of step 3, the ending sequence will be extended to include the MC's and Cove's families' reactions.

Originally, I intended this to also incorporate the MC and Cove's friends as a part of the engagement announcement, But I ended up feeling happy ending it off by just seeing the family's reactions. I might update this to include the option to call friends to tell them in the future, but for now the mod is finished!! DOWNLOAD LINK (Google Drive/Zipped file)

This mod would specifically be made for those who want to be able to experience being able to adopt/have a kid with our silly husband/boyfriend (and also might have a route for those who don’t want kids. Adopting a puppy together anyone ?? 👀)

Obviously it’s still in the uh… “marinating in my notes” + “struggling with ren’py” stages right now, but would that be something people might be interested in?? If so I’d love to hear ideas/questions/concerns/wishes for what that could be like :3

(Photos not completely in order, i.e I just picked some highlights) After my millionth playthrough of OL, I got to that point where the MC can propose to cove in step 3, its one of my favorite things to do for my direct playthroughs, but I was always kind of disappointed we never get to see our respective families’ and friends’ reactions. So I finally just took it upon myself to start making a mod for just that!!

This mod is still a work in progress, keep in mind I’m in my senior year of high school so I don’t exactly have a whole lot of time to work on projects like this but I’ll try my best to finish it!! I've gotten about a quarter done for it so far :3 I hope to make it available for people with the respective step 3 DLC to download (since you need step 3 to be able to propose I believe...?)

I’m not that great a writer but I promise I’m trying my best to replicate GB-Patch’s writing style 🥲 Note: a lot of the writing will be paraphrased from the family/friends’ reactions to your proposal from step 4 but I am taking time to rewrite it obviously.
