So hey, here’s some big excitement! I’ve started moving my letterpress equipment to the new shop space. After doing practically nothing for the past year but hide in my house and knit, it’s kind of a shock to my system. But, on the other hand, I’ve also been working towards this for quite a while now, and it’s amazing to see it finally happening.
I still don’t actually know how I’m going to move the big press, but the little tabletop one makes a handsome shelf decoration.

A few more type cabinets. All Hamiltons. After more than 70 years in a newspaper job shop, these spent the last 12 years in a musty basement. Here, they are getting some well deserved sunshine and fresh air, before returning to service holding foundry type.
