Flats and fire effects are finally finished ohhhh my god 😭
Today will be my fourth day in a row working on this. (Check the OG sketch here if you missed it!) I'll be so real. I've never had a piece take this long before. Ever, really. I can usually bang out a finished piece in two days MAX- but this one is taking a while. I also had to import all of my layers from the original .CLIP file to a new canvas because the timelapse was FAT. (600mb. 6min of footage)
Now CSP is claiming low memory again so I'm going to start merging things after saving a backup. But for the rest of the night I'm just gonna chill and play games!
What do you guys think so far? :) I wasn't going to upload another WIP but lord only knows how long this will take to finish. I like to keep you guys in the loop when I'm working on something cool! 💕✨
Now I know what you're thinking.. why on EARTH would I fully render the background? Because.... I want the finished background without the characters to be a phone wallpaper for all of you who would like it! (Including myself) I think it'll look amazing when its finished!

Concept art for Tyal's signature weapon! Tyal is my dremora HoK! He is a dremora with a mortal soul. He was created to become a harbinger of death- as he was supposed to lead Mehrune's army to victory when invading Tamriel. A mortal soul gives you unlimited resolve and strength; But Mehrunes overlooked the fact that a mortal soul also gives you free will as well.
The shape of the hilt and bottom of the blade were inspired by this sword by IRIS-KA on turbosquid. Turned it into a longsword- sort-of like the length of a claymore.
