Me: Astarions romance is amazing. It’s about reclaiming bodily autonomy and discovering your worth beyond what you can do for others. It’s about finding intimacy in emotional connection, then discovering how that emotional connection can let you enjoy sex, rather than forcing yourself through the motions of two bodies mushing together. You can be more than your worth to others, you don’t have to live on your flight or fight instincts, and you don’t have to provide pleasure to “earn” love. It is ace friendly and deep and exactly my jam, exactly the kind of sex/intimacy exploration I would write for myself.

Had a dream that I was reading some vil fanfic that heavily mischaracterized him, with monsieur Roi du Poison himself beside me going "I would not say that. Ever." and "absolutely not! I refuse to believe that you think I would do something like that!"
