That being said, the reason why its current rendition is scrapped is because initially I wanted to have a Bad Ending Scenario fic where Shiho joins Standout and it breaks Ichika so hard that she has her syscovery, but I really don't want to lump that in with the thing where, first and foremost, the fic is edgy vent-y nonsense where practically everyone is abusive and just a total piece of shit. I don't want that kind of thing for that premise. Since I've been messing with ideas that could segue pretty smoothly into "the world is fucked up and everyone is an asshole", I ought to combine those ideas with this to make a better fic so that I can preserve the RWY bad ending premise for its own fic that's not intended to be set in a crapsack alternate universe that's like the emotional equivalent of KKHTA in terms of "this is just needlessly edgy venting".
