alright, headcannons for Celebrant!
For those unfamiliar with my work on Quotev, Celebrant is the king of Drachenfels, the kingdom of dragons. He's the mate of Queen Naifia, father to Prince Drago and Princesses Ruby and Saphra (as of the book I'll publish and get paid for, not the og on Quotev I might delete those sometime-)
Anyway, onto the headcanons!
What I like about them: Celebrant is one of those kings who cares vigorously for his family and his people, is humble, treats the castle staff well, and welcomes all walks of life into his home. Although, that doesn't mean he's completely soft. When danger comes around, he joins his soldiers in battle and fiercely defends his kingdom, even at the risk of his life.
What I dislike about them: When his son Drago was young, he was quick to assume that he was happy to be future king, but what he didn’t know was that Drago found his royal life to be insufferable and didn’t like the expectations and attention that was on him all the time. When Drago finally made this known to his parents, Celebrant felt very guilty and respected his son’s wishes, saying that whether he wanted to be king or not, whether he was Celebrant’s firstborn or last, Drago would always be his son.
Favourite moment: I have neither a favorite or least favorite, but regardless I don’t want to spoil more than I already have, so I’ll be skipping those two
A situation with this character that I want to see explored more: How he met Naifia and what his childhood was like!
An interesting AU for this character: Genderbend, absolutely
A crossover: TWOF is a pretty big crossover by itself, so I can’t really think of anything.
OTP (or OT3+ etc…. just… favourite ship): Celebrant x Naifia all the way! (Seriously, this guy adores his wife)
BROTP: He’s very good friends with Cloudjumper, the shaman
An assortment of headcanons! Okey doke!
He breathes ice instead of fire
The only time he’s met a human before the girls (Alex and Cassie) was when he was very young
He has an older brother who he hasn’t seen in years
He played dress-up with his daughters Ruby and Saphra when they were little and let them paint his talons and put jewelry all over him (dragons don’t really wear clothes besides armor and maybe blankets on their backs like horses or scarves)
