The solstice gang
This one is a bit old. But I like it nonetheless
Common knowledge, but in Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet The Wolfman, they do a school play where they perform a version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. However, I believe the movie references the novel (and adaptations) at multiple other points in the movie!
These are pretty obvious, but if you're not a fan, you might not recognize them. Or maybe I'm too much of a fan and finding things that weren't intentional, lol...
As Theodore becomes more and more werewolf-ish, he also becomes more Hyde-like. More aggressive, violent, an asshole to women (Eleanor specifically). (Not so much a book reference, but pretty much every adaptation makes him explicitly a misogynistic dickhead. The play included a female love interest so I'm sure it was parodying some adaptation or another instead of the actual book.)
Theodore snaps Lawrence Talbot's cane in half, which could easily be read as a reference to when Hyde killed Carew in the book, breaking his cane in the process.
Later, Dave goes to Lawrence's house to apologize on behalf of Alvin and Theodore for the cane, then Lawrence transforms into a werewolf. Previously, he told Dave something along the lines of "you'll find out [that I'm a werewolf]". I felt this was similar to chapter 9 of the book wherein Hyde transforms back into Jekyll in front of Lanyon!
Also, Theodore was very cute as Hyde in the play. Very adorable. I also appreciate Poole being there (played by Alvin). Simon's Jekyll costume was also very cute.
(I had a screenshot of Alvin and Poole but I didn't send it to myself and I'm too lazy to open my computer again... Sorry, Alvin.)
Talbot's cane and lamp are also fucking awesome his house was so cool
