So, now we come to it. I actually have time and a little bit of sanity, and there are people home, so I can write about what happened Tuesday night.
I've been physically pretty poorly, so it's highly likely that that contributed to this. Honestly, I don't know. But Monday night, I didn't have work (my boss had a baby the Thursday prior), so I decided to binge on my favorite show's second season. What show? Oh, just “American Horror Story”, the second season of which happens to be “Asylum”. While the first season is titled “Murder House”, with the exception of a putrefying corpse and some murdered teens, it's Bubble Guppies in comparison to season 2.
Here be spoilers, so, spoiler diaper babies, cover your eyes.
Okay, so in the first episode, we meet Bloody Face. And that's when my brain broke. Not the aliens, not the exorcism (though holy hot damn fuck), not the...anything else. The murderer in the first episode who is supposedly Evan Peters but really someone else, and is absofuckinglutely horrifying. Bloody Face. Do not look his name up if you are going to hallucinate his face. I don't want that on my head, please.
Alright. So I binged on episodes of the show on Monday night. Things were mostly cool until Tuesday when my grandparents went to bed, leaving me alone in the living room, with one light on. Ordinarily, fine. That night? I was immediately hearing things in my head telling me I was going to die, be murdered, things were coming to get me. I also inherently just KNEW that there was both Bloody Face in the parlor/living room and a burned/disfigured medical experiment creature in our screened in porch. I was frozen in place on the couch for hours. Eventually, a friend online talked me into getting my pills and I took an extra Thorazine and got myself into my room...with an eight inch butcher knife. Which is still in here. I used to sleep with an armadillo toy.
