I mean I’d probably end up making it a side freewood fic (cause I’d want ryan and gavin in it so like hey two birds with one stone right?) and I’d make ryan the person who’s actually on the (football?) team while gavin’s just super supportive

for ashley I might have her have been friends with burnie since they were kids and have him also be on the rival (football????) team

so that ryan could be like aww meg go for it while gavins like dont you dare they’re our RIVALS HOW COULD YOU 

and burnie’d just be like, of course you would ashley with of all the girls at our school, you’d still pick one from (insert rival schools name here)

and like not to make this super dumb post about an au I’ve had stuck in my head too long or anything but I’d want them to meet after the game then meet again at a party later like is it fate?? who knows?? make out to test your theory why dont you
