Day 1 - Okay, let's try this again...
So I haven't posted in a while mostly out of shame... no, scratch that, completely out of shame... and laziness... shamaziness... either way...The reason for the reset on the ticker here is because I fell off the bandwagon, hard. I had...let's call it "a bad few days" where all of the wonderful liberation feelings of the end of crunch where thrown down a flight of stairs, through a window, to smash into the street 50 stories below, where, in a crumpled heap of agony and despair, they were peed on by a homeless man.
So during the worst of Stan I ate myself sick, literally, on pizza and ice cream, and not like a slice and a bowl of food, I'm talking enough to gain six pounds overnight, which for me is equal to two large pizzas and 1.5 liters of sexy, sexy, ice cream. So an allergic reaction to dairy and a week later I'm now back to where I was before Stan happened. Oh joyous day.
So after slapping my face repeatedly while shouting "get your shit together" into a mirror, I'm back on the food journal journey.
(To those of you who have started following me for the Markiplier art work I posted recently I apologise for ruining your expectations of this being a more interesting blog. I've only seen his vid about the spores penis - not penis.)
The images above are the mini frittatas I make in muffin tins which are both adorable and delicious! They're just the right size for portions and cramming them all in your mouth at once like I may or may not have done while talking on the phone to my mother completely defeating the entire point.
The second image is turkey based homemade spaghetti sauce on a bed of zucchini noodles with home grown basil for maximum pretentiousness. If any of you have searched for or heard of zucchini noodles you probably already know this but let me tell you all, THEY DO NOT TASTE LIKE NOODLES they taste like zucchini. They are thin strips of zucchini flash boiled and shaped to look like noodles. They are delicious but they are still just bits of zucchini. Don't be fooled.
