I knowww I mentioned that I’d work on more request AFTER I post one more big drawing but it’s kinda intimidating me at the moment so I’m using my request as a way to get my self ready to draw.

Fox lady – Yokai exhibition in Japan

In may 2010, when we lived in Niigata, Japan, we had the chance to witness a very mysterious event in the mountains : a fox wedding under the cherry-blossom trees. It remains one of our most beautiful and strange memories from Japan. The inhabitants of the village had fox makeup and were celebrating this strange slow wedding until late in the night. We saw a young lady with a beautiful yukata and a fox mask upon her head plus a fox makeup on the face. She was acting like a real fox, with the hands closed like fox paws.

In Japan, it is said that foxes change into beautiful girl to attract men in traps ! This girls was sooo strangely beautiful that we couldn’t prevent ourselves from thinking she was a real one…

We used this idea many time for our sign sessions of our graphic novel Onibi but this time we made it very close to our memory of a strange and ecstatic spring day in the mountains.

you and tsugawa hit it off instantly

you love laughing, he loves laughing - dates often consist of one of you making a very poor joke, and then the both of you still giggling about that joke for the next ten minutes

(as soon as you laugh, tsugawa laughs, and the two of you just keep setting each other off)

tsugawa’s not the greatest at studying so study dates are few and far between; he’s always just got a bit too much energy to be able to sit down and work studiously beside you. that said, he can be a great study partner with some more active study techinques - he’s a very kinesthetic learner

if you ever call him by a pet name, he’ll fall even more hopelessly in love with you (i highly recommend)

tsugawa supports you with anything and everything you do, sometimes to an extreme degree. you’re considering joining a school club? tsugawa will not stop bugging you about how you really should, how it’d be so much fun to go to a club with you, et cetera.

thus, it shouldn’t be surprising that tsugawa’s currently attempting to force you to play basketball with him. practice is a bit awkward (he’s teaching you his way, not the normal way for a beginner player) and tsugawa often forgets himself and ends up defending you as if you were a top player.

both of you are from decently large families; tsugawa has two older brothers. he attempts to ‘protect’ you from his brothers (they tease the two of you mercilessly) whereas your sisters and him are thick as thieves.
