So if I may, is there any reason why you did not brace yourself to hear what your daughter might have experienced on her trip? I imagine it would have helped you take the news well enough to hear all the details her friend tried to give you.”

Shale: It’s...hazy..? I remember doing that to Rosie but I wasn’t... I’m not sure how to explain but it was like I wasn’t there but I was there watching? But ah... You are correct that I allowed this, and I’m all too aware of how dangerous the world is outside of larger cities like Treasure Town and Psystrike City... I suppose I should be grateful that her search didn’t take her to the Sand Continent...

I flew off the handle back there and, while it’s not an excuse, I suppose I was mostly angry that Uxie has not been able to keep his promise to me to keep my daughter safe. In fact it seems that she was put in harm’s way BECAUSE she was searching for him.

Honey has been avoiding me since she arrived- I don’t even know the name of that Meowstic that’s traveling with them now. I... I really need to apologize to the both of them... I plan to, but I believe it would be best if I give them both their space for now.
