We would love to offer Lover Fest East tickets, but we are working within the limitations of our GoFundMe donations. After purchasing our two Lover Fest West tickets (which one of our admins contributed $50 to out of their own pocket) we only have $92.77 left in our fund account - you can see all our record-keeping here. Thatās right, itās back! This chapter took forever, because I still wasnāt sure where I wanted this story to go, but I think Iāve finally settled on an arc. Without further ado, chapter 5!
Roman rolled his eyes as Pattonās phone went off yet again, ignoring the pang of jealousy in his gut. No, jealousy wasnāt the right word. He certainly didnāt want to be with Patton, and he didnāt know Virgil, he just wanted someone special. So jealousy was not the right word- envy was. In the time it took Roman to sort through that train of thought, Pattonās phone had gone off twice more.
āSo, I take it your impromptu coffee date after class yesterday went well?ā
āYeah, I think so. Obviously thereās a whole heaping helping of attraction, but we talked about it and arenāt gonna rush into anything.ā
āIām proud of you, Pat. You donāt need me to remind you- shit fuck shit Iām so sorry. You know how words sometimes happen before I think about them. My point is, this thing you have with Virgil wonāt be like that was, I can tell. And if Iām wrong, well, we know where to find him and break his kneecaps.ā
āHey hey hey, itās okay. Dr Picani has helped so much, it doesnāt get to me like it used to, especially when Iām prepared for it, and I knew it would come up when we eventually had this conversation. Iām really fine. And I also think Virgil is different, but as always, your threats on those who hurt me mean so much to me, ya dork.ā
āNow that we have that settled, tell me EVERYTHING! And for fuckās sake, put your phone on vibrate. If I hear that goddamn Kimmunicator beep one more time, Iām going to throw it out the window.ā Roman laughed, giving Patton a look showing that he was only half joking.
āOkay, shutting it up now. And of course I donāt know much yet butā¦ā The pair spent the next hour discussing and debating Virgil and his traits both known and guessed.

Yeah, we know how that went, burned hot and fast and I ended up burned to hell. But this is different. It isnāt heat, itās warmth. Idk. So weāve decided to take things slow, get to know each other before jumping into anyth- OH MY GOD Logan look at this heās the fucking cutest,ā Virgil said, showing his best friend the picture of a grey tabby kitten with green eyes and the message āit you <3ā.
āThat is quite adorable. The grey fur and green eyes are certainly reminiscent of you, as the black stripes are of your aesthetic choices.ā
āLo, you make things sound so clinical sometimes! Donāt get me wrong, I love you, but damn dude itās just a really cute cat from an even cuter boy!ā Before Logan could respond, Virgil had disappeared into conversation with Patton. Logan sighed and picked his reading back up.

Hello TSFF friends, we have about $120 left over in our account and at this time we think it would be best to donate it all so it can go to a good cause instead of sit in the TSFF bank account. However, as our followers and contributors to the Fund, we wanted to get your input first. Please note that for accountability, respondents will be able to see the results of the poll and any submitted text responses.
Hello friends of TSFF, due to the *gestures vaguely at world around us* the TSFF Team has not been able to maintain the GoFundMe we had open, nor have we felt comfortable actively soliciting more donations when so many have been impacted economically.Ā As such we currently have about $120 in our bank account and would prefer that it go to use instead of sitting there until if/when we are able to be more active.
We could certainly use it to purchase a few merch items as we have done in the past, but the long processing time on orders in the merch store and other fulfillment issues have left us wondering if this current pool of money would be better used by being donated to a reputable organization. We have a list of the organizations we are considering, links to their website, and any ties to Taylor, described in the poll.
