We're going through security
And both me and my sister had TSA-Pre which we had no idea what it was. It's a shortcut through security. You don't have to take off your shoes or small jackets or take your laptops out of your bag. It's freaking awesome man.
TSA Pre feels like complete luxury.
Makes even these early flights seem way less terrible.
Adventures in the TSA Pre line
My guy and I are traveling home from a weekend trip to NYC and get shifted to a TSA Pre line. I'm brown, he's white.
TSA Agent: You guys on your honeymoon?
Me internally: (oh god I wish I thought there was a chance he would propose on our trip why oh why)
Luke: No, we're together but just on a weekend vacation.
Agent, glancing at me and seemingly hearing my screaming internal monologue: Oh, ok. (gets out a chemical wipe) I just need to swab your hands. (at me again) If he's ok, you're ok, ok?
Me, stunned: Uh, ok...
Agent swabs Luke's hands, they come back clean, and we go on our merry way. I realize as we're going through the rest of security that this entire Pre line is couples. They selected couples to make it easier to scan everyone since they saw us hold hands.
Me to Luke: I guess there are perks to traveling with a white guy.
