hi!! this was sooner than i expected, lol.  after @/zeta_reticuli pointed me out that the protein shake in the game was freaking ugly i had no choice but to try to replace it, and somehow it was ridiculously HARD to do 😭. if you don’t know what this is, well, neither do i. but the simswiki says that your sims with high enthusiasm in fitness can have this as a snack.  as a small detail, the top of the can isn’t perfect, i had the worst time trying to make it look nice but the mesh it’s so cursed that it has some details, just don’t look to close at it lmao.  if you’re curious, the name of the drink is “buff me up” since that is the name it has on the game files. i hope u like it! 

THE HOUNDS OF WINTER- 6 DEFAULTS FOR AF/TF

It’s that time again, folks. In honour of the late unlamented Polar Vortex -- and of winter coming to my town of Pondhollow- I bring you five default outfits from Seasons (plus a bonus) for AF and TF!  

AF/TFBodySnowbunny replaced with Enbliththefair's Dark Project RenGal surcote (with TF mesh and four custom RCs by me).  

AF/TFBodyParkaBoots replaced with Yuxi’s Russian Wrap in three colours by @biohole and two by Sleepyrose. (TF mesh by me, because I couldn’t find a conversion for love or money.) When Biohole put these RCs up on PlumbobKeep, they asked that someone default AFBodyCowlneck with them. Unfortunately, I couldn’t do that- but I hope these work anyway!

AFBodyCowlneck replaced with @yandereplumsim‘s gorgeous Lady Winter. Yeah, this is why I used the Russian Wrap for something else- I neeeeeeeeded these coats in my game. Just look at them. look at them. they’re so fluffy I’m gonna die.  

AFBodyJacketDuckBoots replaced with Cynnix’s TSM Corset Dress in @ophidiae​‘s Feast Day textures (and one of Penelope’s Chambermaid textures). You know how the pink JacketDuckBoots is the mesh the game picks whenever it tries to find a mesh that doesn’t exist? Well, I used the white Chambermaid retex for that. It stands out nicely in the catalogue. 

AFBodyRainslicker replaced with @jellymeduza​‘s conversion of Aligeth’s Robin Hood, in three of Andravi’s Beautiful as Me textures.

BONUS: AFBodyDaisyDress replaced with @godlimpingby​‘s Epic Sleeves Gown, in Sherabim’s Heart of the Forest and Requiem textures (with some slight edits by moi to get them to match the sleeves). Now, uh, the reason this is a bonus (and an H&M replacement rather than a Seasons one) is that the Epic Sleeves Gown is... well... 

With sleeves this long, there’s guaranteed to be some clipping. The dangly bits can clip through the body, the arms, each other... it’s just how the rendering works. That being said it looks great in motion- it’s probably one of the only sims meshes that looks better moving than it does at rest. I love it enough that I’m willing to overlook its faults, so I defaulted it, but if you are not so inclined, steer clear of this one.

All of these outfits are available for Everyday, Formal, and Outerwear, and all but AFBodyDaisyDressBoots are available for Activewear as well. (Because... I mean... you could do jumping jacks with the EPIC SLEEVES gown, if you wanted to wipe out an entire county...) All of the AF outfits are enabled for YA and EF, and all meshes have the appropriate morphs. If something has a custom RC, I’ve included the mesh in the file, but you won’t need it to use the defaults.

In the words of almighty-hat: THESE ARE DEFAULT REPLACEMENTS; like Highlanders, there can be only one. YOU WILL NEED SEASONS for all of these defaults to work, and YOU WILL NEED H&M STUFF for the Epic Sleeves Gown.  

For my custom RCs, I used some textures from the Skyrim mods Common Clothes and aMidianBorn’s Book Of Shadows; for my custom meshes, I used @withlovefromsimtown‘s .WSOs. Thanks to all the creators who made these possible! You guys are amazing and your hard work is very much appreciated.  

AGAINST THE HOUSE OF H AND M: PART 3

The battle continues! Today I come bringing five medieval default replacements for stuff from the H&M stuff pack.

All recolours custom-made by me.

There are custom versions of the recolours in the .zip file;  meshes are included but you don’t need them for the default replacements. HOWEVER- something went wrong with the AFBodySeventiesDress and it does require the custom textures. I’m working on fixing it, but until then, just stick the custom textures in your downloads folder somewhere. >.>;

AGAINST THE HOUSE OF H&M: PART ONE 

There are no medieval default replacements for anything from H&M Stuff. 

This is understandable- if you’re playing a medieval game, why would you want a bunch of modern fast fashion? But with most everyone playing on the Ultimate Collection these days, that’s a problem, because it means you have to either hide or ignore about half of the stuff in your clothes bin.

Today, I say NO MORE. Today, we go to battle against the house of H and M. 

Here we’ve got four default replacements- covering seven total outfits- for outfits from the H&M Stuff Pack (plus one Teen Style Stuff outfit). 

AFBodyJessicaDrsLeggings and TFBodyJessicaDrsLeggings have been replaced with three of Skell’s Belted Peasant Dresses. 

AFBodyAdamTopJeans and TFBodySurfer have been replaced with four of the Jezebel dresses from Vampirekisses6661′s The Oldest Profession set.

AFDadaTankMiniSkirt and TFDadaTankMiniSkirt have been replaced with three of Sunni’s Crafter’s Dresses. 

AFBodyBrunoJacket have been replaced with three of Beryllium’s Martebo dresses.
