#ts2 default replacements

Still needs a lot of refinement before I could launch it, but so far it's working, even if the UI is pretty messy and has a lot of files that could be hidden and I'm sure some part of it has a bug somewhere.

What you saw me do was:

Select the hair I wanted to replace with a CC hair.

Upload the CC hair's mesh and colors to the tool.

The tool gave me a .package default replacement file I added to my game.

In less than 60 seconds I went from uploading files to seeing my default replacement in game (... okay, maybe a bit more than 60 seconds, but that's because Sims 2 needs to open)

This is a list of default replacements I currently use for neighborhood/lot view & build/buy mode, and will be updated if I add, remove or replace anything (link to mods & fixes is at the bottom of the list)

200 Follower Gift-  The First Five Minutes (pt. 1) 

So remember when you first set up your medieval hood, and you were really getting into the mood of things... and then the paperkid in their BRIGHT YELLOW COAT stumbled in, and then Rod Humble strolls in with a SHINY NEW COMPY!!!!, and then Goopy Gilscarbo flaunts his terrible shorts all over the place, and by the time the Garden Club jerk and the Uncomfortable Matchmaker Stereotype show up it feels like your sims are just really dedicated LARPers? 

Well, let’s start fixing that. 

I come bearing a bunch of default replacements for base game (mostly) outfits.

A couple more RTFM things: 

The custom RCs for AMTopCowboy, AMBodyFancySuit, AFTopMidSleeveTee, and AFBottomMomJeansTailored were all made by me. I used Maxis patterns and patterns from Spoonflower and took inspiration from The Legend of Zelda for some of the textures. 

I packaged all the custom RCs separately in case you just want them and not the defaults; all meshes are included. As far as I know none of these defaults require any external meshes or textures. However... 

!!!WARNING!!! AMTopCowboy was just too majestic to be contained in one file, so I had to split it into two parts. I marked off which part has the mesh in it, but if you want all the recolours, you’ll need both parts.

The battle continues! Today I come bringing five medieval default replacements for stuff from the H&M stuff pack.

All recolours custom-made by me.

There are custom versions of the recolours in the .zip file;  meshes are included but you don’t need them for the default replacements. HOWEVER- something went wrong with the AFBodySeventiesDress and it does require the custom textures. I’m working on fixing it, but until then, just stick the custom textures in your downloads folder somewhere. >.>;

All recolours custom-made by me, mostly using textures from the Skyrim mods Common Clothes and aMidianBorn’s Book of Silence.

AGAINST THE HOUSE OF H&M: PART ONE 

There are no medieval default replacements for anything from H&M Stuff. 

This is understandable- if you’re playing a medieval game, why would you want a bunch of modern fast fashion? But with most everyone playing on the Ultimate Collection these days, that’s a problem, because it means you have to either hide or ignore about half of the stuff in your clothes bin.

Today, I say NO MORE. Today, we go to battle against the house of H and M. 

Here we’ve got four default replacements- covering seven total outfits- for outfits from the H&M Stuff Pack (plus one Teen Style Stuff outfit). 

AFBodyJessicaDrsLeggings and TFBodyJessicaDrsLeggings have been replaced with three of Skell’s Belted Peasant Dresses. 

AFBodyAdamTopJeans and TFBodySurfer have been replaced with four of the Jezebel dresses from Vampirekisses6661′s The Oldest Profession set.

AFDadaTankMiniSkirt and TFDadaTankMiniSkirt have been replaced with three of Sunni’s Crafter’s Dresses. 

AFBodyBrunoJacket have been replaced with three of Beryllium’s Martebo dresses.
