I had a migraine yesterday and ended up waking up after 10 straight hours of sleep like this:
The migraine is gone today! 💖✨️ I just feel like I have a massive hangover.😅 (I don't drink, but I imagine that this is what it feels like lol)

Idk who needs to hear this, but if you struggle alot with hand washing dishes, like whether its executive dysfunction of starting the task, or the discomfort of having wet hands, or the icky of it. Ngl ive always really struggled with this and its caused so many problems and anxiety having a constant dish pile. BUT GUYS its wierd but it works for me and might work for you, i recently just started washing one or two dishes while im in the shower in the morning, just as my routine, and it takes away all the negatives i had about washing dishes. Its less gross when im already wet and washing myself anyways, i feel like i can hold the dish more comfortably and so its less taxing to scrub, i dont have to worry about water getting everywhere and dripping down my arms and getting on my clothes like it ALWAYS does sink washing. And since the shower is a very comfortable spot for me mentally, i like the warmth, i enjoy the steam, it makes staying and doing the dishes feel relaxing rather than an agonizing chore. I now have zero mental blocks keeping me from doing the dishes. Just get a small-ish shower basket with holes to hold some dirty dishes and an across the tub caddy to set the dishes on to dry and you have a whole moving set up🩷
(resisting the urge to draw skybound again) good morning.
this is me
Hey tumblr, so tomorrow I have this pretty large to-do list. Things are starting to get a little stressful and its mostly because ive done nothing but elderscrolls and sleeping. So tomorrow.. I gotta get some shit done. So if you would be so kind as to encourage me (not tell me but support/encourage/remind me) that this list is important for my physical and mental health, I would gladly appreciate it!

When you’re trying to function early in the morning at school.
Day 397
For better or for worse, humans are creatures of habits. Whether those are habits developed on one’s own or pounded into one’s head by parents, there are things we do not because they make sense, but because that’s how we’ve always done it.
It’s like brushing your teeth right before bed, or tossing your clothes into the hamper for the next wash cycle. If you’ve grown up with parents who believed there was a time and place for something, you would learn that time and place for said thing.
Even if it doesn’t make sense.
Of course, what makes sense to one person, may not make sense to anyone else.
I’ve mentioned in the past that I keep dental floss at my desk as a way to help me remember to floss (with very, very mixed results). This past Labour Day weekend I had a conversation with my sister that made me think. I’ll keep that thing to myself for a bit longer, but it’s made me rethink how I look at habits and remembering.
After passing my dirty socks on my stairs landing three times (forgetting each time to pick them up), I finally shoved them into my purse when I came home so that when I went upstairs I wouldn’t forget them. I then chucked a clean pair of rolled up socks down the stairs so that I would have a clean pair of socks to wear the next time I had to wear my brace.
Seeing as I also tend to forget to grab a clean pair of socks coming back down even when I know I’m going out.
On my way to my hamper I grabbed those laundry net bags and put my skirt into it before throwing it into the hamper. I like that skirt, would like it to last, and will forget to put it into the netted laundry bag before washing unless I put it into the bag before throwing it into the hamper.
I’ve begun to brush my teeth after I take my shower instead of right before I go to bed. It ensures I use the electric toothbrush instead of the manual. Besides, I shower at night, after dinner, I shouldn’t be having anything else to eat anyways.
I forget a lot of things actually, it’s amazing I’m functioning at all. I suppose years and years of growing up with my parents hovering over me had ensured that I could keep myself alive while living on my own.
It's 4:30 p.m. & I am dumb tired.
