ears twitch slightly while tall frame slouches over as if to try and be more approachable. there is a moment where a gentle sort of warmth flickers in creatures chest ⸺ one not their own, but borrowed. or at least somewhat translated into what they might be able to experience. it is not the only feeling settling between the marrow of the creatures bones like something to fill the gaps but it is what they focus on immediately, latching onto it like a cat onto its favorite comfort item. good. kind. exactly what they want to be, even if it has to be borrowed from @truthforge. carefully extending one clawed hand the creature finds themself smiling slightly, red-soaked eyes shimmering with a faint sort of hopefulness that comes with approaching someone new in the firm belief that maybe this time they can be good.

⸺ 「 hello. friendly. 」

their voice is hoarse, cracking slightly at each syllable as if they don't quite know how to use it properly. and yet, at the word friendly they point at themself with a free hand, clawed index finger pointing at themself while their expression turns into a bashful, near shy smile. as if hoping that maybe this time they can cling to hope.

hesitance is written across the very posture of the creature; red burning eyes wide and shining with curiosity despite the lack of discerning features. lips slightly part as eyes find themself fixed on @truthforge; like a moth drawn to a flame. they cannot help the way the lean forward slightly, resembling a curious child in the way claw-tipped hands raise slightly, awkwardly hovering in the air as if instinctually wanting to reach out. they feel it settle between the cracks of their fragmented memory like liquid gold filling in gaps ⸺ a confidence that is not their own; a warmth that is not at all gentle but something that wants to burst from their chest like a radiant flame.

⸺ 「 warm. 」

the word escapes with the raspy tone of someone not familiar with the sound of their own voice. it's not quite croaked out, but the mere voice is evidence enough that they do not use their ability to speak quite as frequently as they may like. their hands remain lingering briefly before slowly lowering to their sides, ears twitching slightly in curiosity. 「 always warm?? 」 the question comes with a naive sort of curiosity, innocent and genuinely interested in understanding the other a little bit better.
