I consider myself a very centrist person. And I tend to agree or disagree with certain points, but the only instances where I block someone is when they get overly aggressive or annoying or their content is kinda gross.

I’m sorry you’ve been blocked.

I’m not into that character but I know how hard it can be to find someone who gets a character juuuust right in art and personality. To have them block you is frustrating to say the least…

I hope over time that we get away from this overly aggressive behavior when it comes to politics and we go back to agree to disagree with others….

But thanks for sharing the art! It might not be a good idea to follow them if they get that butt hurt like that but it’s definitely someone to look at from afar.

Srsly, 99.99999% of the time I get blocked merely for 'liking' and 'reblogging' a post. Sometimes I'll leave dorky commentary, but more often than not, the recipients of that are the only people who DON'T block me.

I miss the old times when people weren’t so extremely political and block anyone who is just a teeny bit to the other side of the spectrum.

I understand that a lot of people are immature kids in their late teens/early twenties who make block lists because they're squeamish about twincest, or because they're worried about being cancelled if they don't conform to the most far-leftist social trends, but some of these people are old people like me, especially the MLA appreciators.

The one (Fungs) blocked me because she didn't like my opinions about mass migration, and then she proceeded to make a call out post that led to chain-blocking. After that, she did several posts ranting and raving about how 'kids these days' shouldn't be posting 'proshippers DNI' on their profiles or doing call-out posts and making block lists because it's abusive behavior. *sighs**shakes head*

Again, all you people in fandom who are 30+ and don't like my political opinions. Imagine you don't still live with your weirdo moms who wrecked you emotionally. Imagine having to go out, get a job, pay a mortgage and raise some children in the current economy. Imagine your most serious worries in life being greater than if porn is legal on the internet. Suddenly you might be like, "Whew! It's such a relief Donald Trump is jettisoning all the illegals sucking off our entitlements! Maybe now food and gas will be cheaper, and my auto-home-medical insurance rates and property tax rates will go down because I won't have to pay for unlimited entitlements for illegals! This is what I voted for! Making life better for me! An American citizen! Who cares more about the future of my children than of foreigners' children!"

Good. That's the point. Most people do it for the attention, especially those artists with almost no artistic talent. It's classic troll bait to spam a 4Chan forum with MSPaint rendered morbidly obese werewolves for the joy of having everyone else like, "Gross! STOP ALREADY!!!"

If you don't love your bullshit enough to allow a handful of people to see it, why bother? I know how it is. After all, I've written (*checks*) 40,762 words centered around Koku Hanabata AKA "Trumpet" the most unloved and underutilized character in My Hero Academia. One has to go to AO3 to see it, and I know for a fact that the couple of other people who are obsessed with the Meta Liberation Army don't approve of my take. I wrote it as a labor of love and self-indulgence, and hey, people are allowed to have hobbies. It keeps the mind sharp.

I might have left them one or two comments on content I found on a Skeptic or Geten thread, and that counts as the Kharmii being 'all over their @'s' or whatever. I hardly ever interact with people on Twitter otherwise. Cry about it moar. Trump supporters exist, and there's nothing you can do about it. Cry about that too. While you are at it, cry about the fact that people with differing political opinions than you are in a fandom you like...nothing you can do. You don't own the rights to the MLA just because you've been into them longer.
