I love that when Ben is first on set, Evan has his back to him. Is it a lack of care, a power move to show that he doesn't see Ben as a threat, or is it him conserving his energy to play his part for the audience? Maybe a mix of everything. But "Frank" postures himself to make direct eye contact with Ben- an intimidation tactic. Maybe Evan doesn't feel he needs to make a scene because of his infamy, and again, he'll show his technical military prowress later, so why bother?
