Just watched Baby Driver for the first time. As always from Edgar Wright it's a 10/10
I really enjoyed the characterization of Baby himself. I went into this blind so I was kind of expecting some cocky, talkative kid prodigy or something, but was pleasantly surprised with what he was actually like.
His relationship with Deborah and Joe was really sweet to see. Despite the fact Deb and Baby only knew each other for a bit, we got just enough of her that it felt believable for her to go off with him at the end. Joe was so cool to see. The deaf / hard of hearing representation with both him and Baby was sick.
Supporting characters were also top notch, along with the cinematography, action sequences, and of course, THE MUSIC. I've already got the Hot Fuzz, The World's End, and Scott Pilgrim soundtrack saved on my phone, and it looks like Im just going to add a new one on.
