Tecna is more well versed in How To Do Neurotypical Social Cues so she'll often try to give Riven tips on how to handle social situations better
She'll also be the first to help Musa understand Riven's pov more when they're fighting. Tecna is a big part of how they managed to pull through the first years of their relationship before they learned how to communicate better
Riven tells her this one day, years down the line, and since her social skills are something she's insecure about she counts it among one of her greatest achievements
Riven, like Bloom, is absolute shit with technology. He needs either Tecna or Timmy to help him out with everything like your average granny
Tecna is the worst backseat driver. Normally Riven and Timmy will bicker about who gets to fly the Owl, but whenever Tecna is a passenger Riven is more than happy to let Timmy do it since he’d be tempted to kill her otherwise
They’re both weirdos who hate dogs. It’s one of the first things they bond over
Tecna really likes martial arts so they spar together sometimes. Riven is insecure about the fact that his form isn’t as good as Brandon, Sky, and Helia’s, and gets self-conscious and defensive while training with them. Tecna is like the one person he can spar with and actually focus on improving
