These Shaved Tri-Tip Sliders with Bacon and Cheese Sauce are the perfect game day snack or party appetizer. Juicy shaved tri-tip steak is paired with crispy bacon, a creamy cheese sauce, and a tangy special sauce, all sandwiched between soft slider buns.
Ingredients: 1 lb shaved tri-tip steak. 8 slider buns. 8 slices of bacon. 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup shredded lettuce. 1/4 cup pickles. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Cook the bacon slices until crispy, then drain and set aside. In a small saucepan, melt the cheddar cheese over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and set aside. In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, barbecue sauce, diced onions, and diced tomatoes to make the sauce. Season the shaved tri-tip steak with salt and pepper, then grill or cook in a skillet until done to your liking. Toast the slider buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Assemble the sliders: Spread the sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Top with shaved tri-tip, a slice of bacon, shredded lettuce, pickles, and a generous drizzle of the cheese sauce. Place the top bun on each slider and serve hot.
