Ingredients: 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and drained. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon maple syrup. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Cooking spray or oil for greasing baking sheet.
Instructions: Set the oven's temperature to 400F, or 200C. Slice or cube the compressed tofu. Mix the soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, cornstarch, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl. Once thoroughly coated, toss the tofu slices or cubes in the marinade. Ensure that the tofu are evenly spaced out on a baking sheet that has been oiled. Bake the tofu for 25 to 30 minutes, rotating it halfway through, or until it becomes crispy and golden.
