I am interested in the little memories we often force ourselves to keep for a short period of time.
I realized I make lists to remember these small tasks throughout my days.
I decided to use list-making as an art form.
I created different kinds of lists, emphasizing different tasks to remember, accomplish, or fail.
Throughout this project, I realized how much space these small memories were occupying in my thoughts.
Towards the end of my project, I made lists of things I deemed more important to remember, yet appeared to be equally as “little” thoughts throughout my day.
Treating my every day thoughts and activities like an art project, provided me the necessary distance to observe my own behaviors and recognize areas to improve.
