Headfirst, Trinity Centre, Bristol, UK, 2021. My second music event after the onset of the covid-19 pandemic. Had to show a lateral flow result to get in, but both the result and my ticket were digital - so I don't have any physical memorabilia of this night! This was a world music night, and I mainly went with friends from my capoeira group (one of whom was leaving Bristol 😢). I was fascinated by Beoogo Yinga from Burkina Faso and loved their energy for working the crowd up.
