The Mahindra Treo is driven by an AC induction electric motor, complemented by a lithium-ion 48V battery pack boasting a 7.37 kWh capacity. This setup yields a peak power output of 10.7 horsepower and a torque of 48 Newton-meters.

The inclusion of a direct drive transmission ensures a smooth and vibration-free power delivery, eliminating the need for intermediary components like drive belts or gears.
