When I'm feeling intimidated by a big build (which happens every time I do a big build), I tend to focus on a smaller area first to get a feel for what I want to do.
So I did the chapel! This is meant to be a Peteran worship space, but it's still rather fancy because royalty. I also added a crypt below said chapel. Is it really a castle if there isn't a crypt?

Once upon a time, Tredonia was the heartland of the great medieval kingdom that stretched from the fog-filled forests of Uberwald to the rocky shores of the Aarby Coast and the bucolic hills of Simgland. Nowadays, while SimNation’s political center of gravity has shifted to the Myshuno Metropole, Tredonia remains at the center of art and culture - or at least, that’s what its residents think. Explore the winding cobblestone streets of Windenburg or patronize one of Nordhaven’s up-and-coming small businesses - whatever you want to do, Tredonia is here to welcome you.
Tredonia is composed of two worlds:
Windenburg
Nordhaven
And is adjacent to the following regions:
Simgland
Aarby Coast
Uberwald
Economy of Tredonia
The economy of Tredonia is as diverse as it is robust. Tredonia is home to many renowned firms, including the publishing giant Walrus Books and the famed investment enterprise Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe. The region was one of the first to industrialize, but unlike Rusty Lakes, they've had much better luck turning their former industrial core into thriving small business districts.
In short, opportunity abounds in Tredonia - it's just a matter of seizing it.
Government of Tredonia

Like much of SimNation, Tredonia has a bicameral parliamentary legislature. The lower house, the Tredonian Diet, is composed of individually elected representatives chosen via ranked-choice voting. The upper house is called the Tredonian Senate, and its members are elected via proportional representation.
Tredonia was the seat of the great medieval kingdom, and while many (most) parts of how that kingdom was governed have passed away, one very important thing remains: the Tredonian monarch is still the head of state.
Politics of Tredonia
Tredonia is the swing region, and its politics tend to be a bellwether for SimNation's as a whole. Simoleons for Everyone tends to do better in good economic times, while No Sim Left Behind performs better in poor economic times. The Foundation for Less Mischief and World United are constantly fighting for votes. Speak for the Trees tends to have a consistently small-but-respectable showing, making them an important power-broker in the regional parliament.
Religion of Tredonia

Unsurprisingly given its history, Tredonia is mostly a Watcher-worshiping region. The Peteran and Jacoban faiths are far and away the most popular in the region, with the Jacoban faith being slightly more popular than the Peteran. Yet both the Cult of the Cowplant and Congregation of Non-Believers are growing fast. The Treaders of the Occult is the least popular faith, with most adherents being transplants from the Shih Shores and their descendants.
