I randomly decided to try drawing sonic in a cute chibi style, proceeded to make him an AU version of sonic instead and now I have made lore on the spot
Anyways so the AU is called Treadnotes AU
Some notes:
Since I'm not well versed in Sonic canon, whatever I do in the AU is heavily dependent on what I find out about it lol
Sonic is selectively mute here :]
He's much younger than other versions of himself, but older than his first version, technically
His whole thing is that he travels or treads the multiverse/dimension, just cause. He likes noting things about the other AUs he visits
The miku blue highlights in his quills are natural highlights. They light up when he runs across to another dimension/universe/au
Oddly friendly with the EXE universes lol
He is also sort of a multiversal mail/delivery guy lmao, he'll come over with tech/healing items/anything of value or he'll just spare some extras from his own stash for others ^^
He has no equivalent to tails or anyone else from main Sonic's friend group
It makes him kinda lonely but he doesn't mind(I wonder if he'll like Sonic Prime Sonic...)
The outfit was made by an older Silver variant
His thoughts on shipkids as a whole: "Interesting"
He seems to prefer hanging out in violent AUs for some reason, gets more interesting details out of them perhaps
Of course, that means he's prone to finding himself in way more danger than the usual sonic adventure
Has insane amount of luck, kinda unfortunate that he just couldn't get friends with it
Has no home universe btw, bro is stranded
