The reason why I believe that everyone should be traveling around the world is that it is the antidote to #racism, #xhenophobia, #antisemitism, and #intolerance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Getting to know each other, learning from one another, and understanding different cultures is what brings us closer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am not expressing my political opinion and world views very often on Instagram, but sometimes it is necessary. Just to push the comfort zone a bit and remember that there is still so much work that we need to do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Work that we can do daily by reflecting on our believes, thoughts, and words. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If there is one thing that we have learned throughout the last months, is that we are all interconnected and that we can survive and go through a pandemic with grace. It is utterly disappointing to see how governments blame others, try to nationalize a cure, create a capitalistic race, and feed into that dark fire of discrimination and racism. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is not what I stand for, it is not what I believe in, and it is not what I support. On the contrary, it is a reminder that there is so much work that I need to do. And I can't wait to start to travel again and meet new people in foreign countries.
