Wearable voice traslator 

Is not really a problem here to call characters by the untraslated original names when this happens. We do this here with Batman because “Homem-Morcego” is away to big and does not sound that good.

But instead of doing that, we went with “Demolidor”, that means “Demolisher”. And i always hated that translation. 

Now i realize that there’s the word “demo” in it - and “demo” is a shortened version of “demônio” that means devil - and there’s the two D’s of the logo.

I kind of like it. Even thougth the meaning makes no sense with the character. The fun part is that this happens a lot.

Deathstroke is “Exterminador”. Bullseye is “Mercenário” (Mercenary). Hawkeye is “Gavião Arqueiro” (Hawk Archer). Jester is “Polichinelo” (Jumping Jack). Dazzler is “Cristal”.

Wonder Man is Magnum (Why? Nobodys knows, the theory is that here the word Wonder/Maravilha has a more feminine meaning so they changed it.).  

Punisher here is “Justiceiro”, that means “The one that aplies justice” even tougth Frank Castle is about revenge and punishement. 

Martian Manhunter was called “Ajax” for a while, then we adopted a more literal translation - “Caçador de Marte” - on the turn of the century.

The worst of all is Speddy as “Ricardito”.
