Here’s some photos of my collage trashbook that I made by hand with construction paper and an ungodly amount of tape:
I was new to collage when I made it so the pages are kinda meh, but I’m still really proud of it
Gift bag
I wanted to do this in a journal with a square punch, but I currently lack the latter. The idea is to use a square punch to cut a piece out of something each day that is somehow commemorative, important, interesting, beautiful, or somehow notable in some other way, and glue it into your trashbook or journal.
A new variety store opened up in my neighbourhood last year, and if you made a purchase over a certain amount you got a gift bag of treats. The treats included ice cream, a t-shirt, random other things, and a bottle of pineapple pop (tasty!).
This is the gift bag.
Exciting? Perhaps not. But I like memory keeping, journalling, art, and other creative pursuits.

All future squares will be here.

I'll be honest, i didn't do much studying during the weekend, because I was at my boyfriend's and we were mostly chilling. but I'm back after sleeping for five hours ready to rumble
photos:
1) history of monument care notes, where we did a recap of the whole semester bc we'll write a test the next class. i def passed this class, because I did a voluntary powerpoint
2) a new book i got from the library, World of the Gothic Cathedral by Ernst Ullmann
3) we played DnD on Friday and the mantichore (?) that attacked us was shown on the map by a beaver. shoutout DM @symboslug and players @mechovejtypek @vaesivlasta @wokfee
4) a cool wall picture i took from a bus when i went back to dorm rooms this morning
5) Latin notes. I'll probably not pass the fiest test but it's like an early unofficial term, if I pass I pass the class, but if I fuck it up I have the other two official tries and the teacher will take it as a trial
6) trashbook spreat
i havent given any updates on my trash book!!! so heres all the pages so far!!! <3333

Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg drove the social-media company’s response to disclosures about its influence on political discourse, teen mental health and other matters. He sent deputies to testify in Congress.
The day after former Facebook employee and whistleblower Frances Haugen went public in October, the company’s team in Washington started working the phones.
To lawmakers and advocacy groups on the right, according to people familiar with the conversations, their message was that Ms. Haugen was trying to help Democrats. Within hours, several conservative news outlets published stories alleging Ms. Haugen was a Democratic activist.
Later, Facebook lobbyists warned Democratic staffers that Republicans were focused on the company’s decision to ban expressions of support for Kyle Rittenhouse, the teenager who killed two people during unrest in Kenosha, Wis., and who was later acquitted of homicide and other charges.
The company’s goal, according to Republicans and Democrats familiar with the company’s outreach, was to muddy the waters, divide lawmakers along partisan lines and forestall a cross-party alliance that was emerging to enact tougher rules on social-media companies in general and Facebook in particular.
