some notes you don't need to read:

"bakit nakaganyan?" means "why is it like that?" but in this context, it's more accurate to translate it as "why/how did this happen?"

"parang ako'y pinagtampuhan" means "it feels like i'm being beaten up" in google translate. again, in this context, it's more on "it feels like we're distant". when i first heard this song, i thought 'tampuhan' was 'tampo', which means 'sulk'. i opted with "pushed around" to give it the [sulk + beaten up] thing. you get sad if you get pushed around often.

"nais ko sanang itanong kung sino ba ang totoo" means "i would like to ask who is real" google translated. again, most of the translation relies on the context, so it becomes "i want to know who you truly love". i changed this same line two times from "i just want to ask if you truly love me" to "i just want to ask about who you truly love" since in the first part, the singer has doubts if her lover is seeing another woman. second part is when she knows it already, thus asking if he loves the other woman more than her.

"itigal na ang duda" = "stop doubting",, oh golly! i made this have two meanings in the translation. "stop the doubt, I'll trust that I'm the only one you love!" - [i'll stop doubting you]. "stop the doubt, you made the trust I kept holding on to die!" - [i'll stop doubting myself].

"nais ko sanang itanong kung sinong hitad ba ito" google translated means "i would like to ask whose girlfriend this is". [hitad] means [coquette] and it's more on "i want to ask who this coquette is" where the singer is passive-aggressive (?) in wanting to know the other woman,, but i went for "i just want to ask who's coquette is this" as if the singer is still in denial that it's her lover's

i did not translate "bahay kubo" as that segment is a parody (?) of another folk song. the lyrics are "bahay kubo, kahit munti, ang halamaan doon ay sari-sari. *lists vegetables*". the lyrics of this song change it yet still have that consistency: "bahay kubo, dahil maliit, ang nagtipon doon ay hindi mag-ari. "lists body parts*".

"karapat" ("'di karapat dapat sa kanya") means "worthy",, however, it's just a few letters down from karapatan, which means rights/privileges. i opted for that, translating the line as "you shouldn't have a right to be with her" to express the singer's frustration and belief that he belongs to her since they're married.

speaking of marriage, "pangako" means "promise", but in this context, i translated it as "vows" instead.

the whole line "diba pangako mo, tayong dalawa magsasama hanggang wakas?" means "didn't you promise that we two would be together until the end?". i translated it as "your vow, our vows to be together until the end of time!" where the singer emphasizes that SHE vowed along with him to be together, not with the other woman.

some of the lyrics don't explicitly state a subject/person mentioned (ex. "'di na hahayaan ang langit ang huusga"), but is implied to have a subject (ex. "i won't let heaven judge anymore"). for that example line, i switched [judgement/judge] with [justice]
