Bumblebee’s voicebox was stolen near the end of the war, so he is still getting used to communicating without one. He talks with a combination of beeps and radio, and while he is sad he lost his voice, he has a LOT of fun with the radio.

Honestly, I understand we as human readers want to see the Earth to be saved, but the way this comic and the TF fans dismissed and disregarded the sufferings and loss of the Transformers while propping up Optimus into this Earth hero is why I don't find this comic dark or matured as all. By making Optimus seems to put all his efforts into saving Earth because of readers' bias while barely showing any concerns about Cybertron and his own people and hiding behind the excuse "We brought this war to them" is why I just began to drift away from his character. TF Skybound made Optimus look like he giving on his own planet, which can be a cool concept to highlight his flaws and misgivings, but that would make him look like truly neglectful asshole, which is definitely not allowed by the writers.

I'm sorry but just because Cybertronians and Cybertron are just fictional alien robotic race, it doesn't mean we should treat them as cannon fodders or blatant plot devices where no one cares about what they went through because they are not human characters.

It would've had to be Jack for the sake of the series' continuation because Botmom would've taken the opportunity to end Megatron without even a second thought lol. Like, he wouldn't have even had to CONVINCE her like he attempted to with Jack.

Most likely Miko or even any of the other bots would've done the same thing had it been them instead of Jack. But that's why it had to be Jack--because, as it's said a few time throughout the series, he's a lot like Optimus, perhaps even to a fault in this specific scenario depending on who you ask.

But let's venture into this juicy Botmom scenario for funsies anyway!

Yup, she would have drilled through Megatron's bucketass head before he'd even be able to get a sentence out.

Doing so probably drives a rift between her and Optimus later, however. Because we all know how 'wishful thinking' he tends to be when it comes to Megatron. Her quickness to take Megatron's life and complete lack of remorse about it would bother Optimus deeply--despite the fact that, honestly, she has every right to be that way in this situation, and doesn't reflect such coldness in any other facet of her personality. This would inevitably lead to a heated confrontation between Wyatt and Optimus soon after.

And while, yes, they would fight about it and Wyatt would be frustrated with him, she can't bring herself to be truly angry at him, because she's aware of the history between Optimus and Megatron, and knows from the conversations they have on their long, late night drives just how deeply it fucks with Optimus.

I think my favorite mainstream Autobot would be Optimus, which yeah seems basic but like,, I love his dynamic in like every show, we don't talk about the bayverse movies and I love Peter Cullen, his main VA, as well which also just raises his standing. WFC did him pretty dirty though 😔 And I think my favorite mainstream Decepticon is Starscream. Need I say more.

As for more "obscure" characters, I think my favorite Decepticons (well, sort of Decepticon? Neither is really quite a Con??) is Blackarachnia and Wasp, especially from Animated, and my favorite Autobot is probs Whirl. None of these people are that obscure but also I need to refresh on my seriously obscure characters lol

Ooh! You know what, to be honest, I have not actually read any of the Transformers comics yet!       *sweats nervously*

Other than skimming the TFwiki summaries of some of the story elements. And flipping through a small, bonus comic from IDW that came included with my TFP season 1 box set.

But I do like certain character designs I’ve learned come are in the comics...so I guess that counts. I’m pretty sure most of my favorite looks come from the IDW comics. But I’m not an expert on the subject, or who the specific artists are. But here are a few examples...maybe someone can enlighten me??

Definitely looked up this artist. I love Sarah Stone’s red colored Starscream. Such a beautiful aesthetic!! Probably the most fab version to me other than TFPrime Starscream!

I also enjoy this version of Hotimus Rodimus! Probably from IDW...he’s just so flashy and I love all his sharp angles!

And DRIFT!!!

AND GRIMLOCK!!

But the comics feel a bit overwhelming to start yet, so I’ll just admire these pretty designs from afar!
