Progress.

2 years on T as of December 10th, 2017. 1 year and 3 months post op from top surgery. About 6 months out from a hysterectomy.

Life is so so good.

My fellow transmen, changing your body is more than just taking testosterone. It takes a lot of self-love, working out, dieting (whether bulking or cutting), and lots of patience.

Remember, we’re all trees who grow and change at different rates. You shouldn’t compare yourself to any other transdude because of this. Some grow like bamboo, drastically changing in a few months. Others (like myself) take over a year to see changes, growing slowly like an oak tree. No matter where you are in transitioning or what kind of tree you may be, the real key is to love yourself all throughout the journey. If you can do that, then life will be so much more fruitful (pun intended), no matter where you are in the journey.

Dudes, I keep hearing from other ftm’s about stupid shit that cis people keep saying and or doing. And my fellow ftm’s are always SO POLITE about it! I say no! BE SPICY! 

If someone calls you by the wrong pronouns (on purpose), use the wrong pronouns right back at them! If someone keeps asking for your dead name, call them by another name too! When you call them Chad and they seem confused, respond with “I’m sorry! I thought we were making up names!” 

If someone asks you what’s in your pants, you ask them right on back! If they ask you how you have sex, ask THEM how THEY have sex. If you do the same thing they are doing to you, they will realize how incredibly rude, inappropriate and embarrassing it is. Apparently SOME people CANNOT fathom how these questions are inappropriate unless they are shown.
