Inspiration: a random video on Tiktok mentioning a theory where Chuuya's parents sold him to the government. So yea...have some angst oh and transchuu!

Chuuya's parents had an....unstable relationship to say the least. They'd fight over the littlest things, they couldn't make up for it for the life of them because of the fact that Chuuya's mother would just hold a grudge against his father. They were very unhappy with each other. They went to couples therapy, his mother started drinking wine and his father started to drink whiskey. Still nothing worked. Nothing seemed like it would repair their relationship.

So, they separately asked their parents. Their parents suggested having a child. So, a few days later they talked about it. After some talking, they came to the agreement of having a child.

After two tries, Chuuya's mother is finally pregnant and 9 months later, she gives birth to a beautiful baby. The baby is originally female with the name Chika. This is Chuuya before everything. His parents were upset that they didn't have a son, but they raised him anyway in hopes of him fixing their marriage.

Years go by and Chuuya's parents pretend to be happy. They sent him to school and everything was fine. He was getting good grades, particularly in math. Teachers said he did math better than half the students in his class and that his parents should be proud of him. Which they were to an extent.

Eventually, Chuuya manifested his ability. His parents weren't ability users so they didn't know how to react. Chuuya slipped and stopped falling in mid air. How were they supposed to react to that?

After asking around town and doing as much research as they could they find out that Chuuya is an ability user.

Chuuya, or rather Chika, meanwhile, had no idea that what they were experiencing wasn't normal. There would be times Chuuya's mother tried to get him to wear girly clothes because he was a girl and he just refused. His mother was upset. It was completely unheard of! A girl not wanting to wear pretty clothes?!

Eventually, Chuuya wore them to shut his mother up.

Of course, the government got wind of Chuuya's gifts and made an offer to his parents.

Obviously, they can't handle Chuuya's gifts. Chuuya would need proper training and exercise. At first, his parents declined the offer. Chuuya is here so their marriage can survive after all.

The government left them alone but said they'd be back.

Days go by.

Chuuya was starting to struggle to handle his ability, still refusing to wear the pretty dresses and skirts his mother got him.

Again, the government requested Chuuya but this time for a price that his parents couldn't ignore. So, Chuuya's parents sold Chuuya to the government. Where Chuuya was deprived of a proper childhood.
