So I looked up the definition of transabled because generally, in a debate, if someone tells me to look up the definition of a word I actually do. The transID wiki includes people who "don't identify as disabled or don't identify with their diagnosis" in the definition, presumably to silence criticism from disabled people pointing out that you can't transition away from being disabled. But at a certain point denying your own disability becomes nearly impossible and certifiably ridiculous. Imagine me being like "I'm actually not disabled and don't have CFS" meanwhile my giant ass powerchair is just there like

god sometimes I stumble into pro-transabled circles by accident (today it was because I looked up what transid meant) and it's so baffling in the worst way possible. "I want to acquire a phobia" ok so you want to make your life harder with absolutely no upsides. That is stupid. You are stupid for wanting that. It's so fetishizing too because you know they want to be disabled because of the perceived attention and care that disabled people get without understanding that we don't actually get that and actually we just suffer most of the time. Being disabled isn't all being comforted and taken care of it's mostly being abandoned by people you thought were your friend.
