How would you describe fluctuating dysphoria like how does it present in people? Are there days where you don't feel it at all and feel completely comfortable in your agab and days where you aren't sure? I'm opening this up to the rest of the trans community as well it's something I've been wondering, I apologise if I sound ignorant
So, I definitely always have dysphoria but just sometimes it's not as present or consuming. Like I have days sometimes where I literally feel sick because i feel stuck in a woman's body, but other days it doesn't really feel as soul crushing and I can actually move on and get stuff done. And I think it just depends on the person on how their dysphoria affects them on a day to day basis, but that's just what it's like for me
Apparently trans people aren't allowed to like cis people or else they'll get called a bootlicker. Anyway, to all you cis people out there, you're allowed to have opinions on trans discussions. You aren't doing anything wrong by doing so. We do appreciate you
Is anyone here good at writing emails?? I need to email my admissions counselor about me being trans and requesting a name change on the attendance sheets, but I'm ass at formulating good, professional emails
I know the tucutes and the mogais are gonna come for me for this statement, but they're literally the reason my mom was hesitant to allow me to take hormones. She was fine with it at first but she wanted to do some research to make sure I'll be safe while on them, since I have high risks for diabetes and high blood pressure, and that was fine. But while doing her research she found these "non dysphorics" who regretted going on hormones and then detransitioned and now she's sceptical about me going on T because it might be a phase and I'll ruin my body. So yeah, thanks. Even though you say you aren't doing any harm to the trans community, you are.

Hey, I’ve been thinking; do you think that the trans community would benefit from prioritising social transition more than medical transition?
Yeah I absolutely do. I think it's helpful for trans people to start to live out their lives as their gender to get used to the change. That's why I stand behind the medical professionals who advise that trans people should be living as their gender before starting any type of medical transition because it makes it easier in the long run, and can save someone from making a huge mistake if they realize in the end that they aren't actually trans.
