I love (/s) how transphobes try to claim they can always detect someone's sex assigned at birth and would never be attracted to a trans person of the "wrong sex" while SIMULTANEOUSLY being terrified they will date a trans person without knowing it, to the point they commit violence against us when they learn we're trans.
Recall how I said TERFs/radfems/transphobes are trying to roll back modern understanding of sexual attraction, right? How they want to use the old definitions that no longer make sense with our modern understanding of sex and gender, yes?
Aka, they want to revert the definition of sexuality as "attraction to X sex" as opposed to "attraction to X gender".
Now, back when Western society thought there were only 2 sexes and 2 genders and that gender=sex, saying "same sex attraction" or "opposite sex attraction" made perfect sense. This is why an older, outdated definition of bisexual is "attraction to both", because back then, "both" meant everyone.
It's 2022 though, and obviously today we have a very different understanding of sex, gender, and attraction.
BUT back to transphobes, and specifically lesbian TERFs and radfems.
Like I said at the start, they're sure they can always tell if we're trans, but they also claim we can "trick" them.
So which is it? Are they attracted only to a person's sex assigned at birth and can always tell? Or are they attracted to a person's gender presentation, and make assumptions about our sex and gender based on our presentation?
The other thing that drives me up the wall is their insistence that if you are attracted to a trans person, you suddenly become bisexual. They'll get real mad too, if you insist that monosexual folks can be attracted to cis and trans people of the same gender. Straight guys can be attracted to trans women; they don't magically become bisexual.
But again, this comes from the fact that they can't reconcile the fact that sex and gender are not the same thing, AND that sexualities are no longer defined as "attraction to X sex". They literally have to warp and twist and revert our modern definitions of sexuality to get it to work in their weird little world.

Look I know lots of transmascs love Mulan, but I'm a Millennial and Ocarina of Time literally came out the same year as Mulan, and I don't think enough of us talk about Sheik. Like. Oh my god. Sheik.
