i deleted my old trans caleb post because i got overwhelmed by people seeing it but this is for you anon! i will try not to delete this one this time:

trans man caleb who is the best big brother and role model if/when you come out. he came out young, probably way before you had any time to even think about your own gender, but it just means he gets to take care of you and model everything so you can explore your gender freely.

caleb who got top surgery as soon as he could and felt AWFUL having you take care of him while he was recovering. he made jokes about you being his little nurse but he hated not being able to do things and there was probably multiple times where he popped a stitch or hurt himself trying to do something he shouldnt have been.

trans man caleb who convinced all the daa guys that he had been in some sort of freak accident when they saw his top surgery scars and somehow convinced you to go along with the story too.

caleb absolutely does cut his own hair. and it was a surprise to gran when he first chopped his hair off (badly) at like age 7 or something and if/when he changed your hair drastically too. but or course he was gonna do your hair for you, what’s the point of putting all the work in to learn how to do hair if not to do your hair for you.

caleb doesn’t care about people knowing hes trans but he is very aware of how people view him and that part of him, especially in the fleet. it’s something he keeps a close eye on, but him being trans isn’t a secret, and if anyone finds out that perfectly fine by him. most people are too afraid of him to spread any rumors around though so its pretty hush hush even if caleb doesnt mind.

i think caleb would like subtle pride merch, but only if it was a gift from you (or maybe gideon) he doesn’t buy anything like a trans flag or a shirt with a funny quot about being trans, but if you buy him a bracelet with the trans flag colors hes wearing that all the time. its not a lack if pride or anything he just likes more subtle stuff like that (and of course it being a gift from you is a bonus)
