âIâm not sure I have much of an opinion. Or that I should.â She was a mage, right, or... something. Whatever, either way it didnât really matter to him.

@tranquilbrokenâ â¤âd (for River, Inquisition verse)
âyou look... familiar...â
[ continued from x - @tranquilbroken ]
Reina stood, breaking the distance and putting a hand on Riverâs.
âYouâre exhausted, I can tell. Let me help; then at least youâll get to rest sooner.â She implores not only with her voice but with her eyes; they bore into Riverâs face, pleading with her to listen.
Closer, she can also see River isnât just tired. Thereâs a tension around her eyes. For a moment, with their brief contact, Reina is tempted to touch her with her magic, to eke out what ails her, but that is not only a severe breach of privacy, she also doesnât want to expose herself. Still, it takes all her willpower not to just take away the pain sheâs feeling.
I see you post and got excited and I'm glad I looked X'D Just A+
Listen, I see my hot evil templar wife, I impulsively jump back onto this blog lmao.

After everything that happened at Redcliffe and what shortly followed at Haven, Raserei wanted to make sure, the mages were settling in well, and most importantly they werenât being inadvertently blamed for Haven.Â
As for what happened at Redcliffe proper it stayed between those who went and the advisors. Yes, the mages made a huge error, one that wasnât lost on the Vashoth, but if word got out about it, keeping the wheels of this Inquisition on would be a lost cause.Â
Upon stepping into the quarters where the mages were staying the now Inquisitor spotted a familiar face.
âAh, so we meet again. Must be nice to be near other mages.âÂ

@tranquilbrokenâ :  She waits till Anders is out of earshot, eyes tilted in his direction before speaking to Margo in gentle tone.. "...Promise you'll make sure he comes back, Serrah. Without him - the refugees are in serious trouble." River was a mage herself, but she couldn't heal at all like he could - her healing came from potions, which could only do so much next to his miracles.
they were leaving for the expedition in the morning. her, anders, carver, bartrand, varric, and a whole assortment of other humans and dwarves. if what varric said was true, they might find enough treasure and riches down there for margo to bring her family out of poverty ... or at least into a house where the roof didnât leak with every rain or creek with every wind. going into the deep roads was dangerous, but being an apostate in kirkwall with no ground on to stand on was even worse. â i promise you, river, â she began, â i am more dangerous than anything down there. nothing will touch him. â      if she didnât believe in herself as a mage, as a survivor, no one else would.

It might happen, Archer had no idea what the next day would bring or even if he would survive the current day. He did like fighting, it was the one thing he was good at. It made him feelm alive like nothing else. He knew how scared she was, how worried she was everytime he went out and came back. Bloodied, bruised and almost to the brink of death. And yet Archer felt not more alive than at this point.
He could feel her being close to him, her body being close and her kisses over his skin. Something he never thought he would enjoy all that much. Slowly he looked at her, following her voice for that.
âHmmm? Are you...still worried?â
@tranquilbrokenâ asked: âAs a child they tell you the most ghastly stories of Tevinter in the Circle, so you donât get the idea that anything outside the Circle is possibly any good.â River ran her fingers across the banister, â...It works as long as youâve never been outside it, I suppose.â
Dorian barked out a laugh at Riverâs comments. There was no other way to respond to her words. Honestly, the things that the South said and thought were ludicrous at best. â Tevinter, ghastly? Certainly not to an observer! â he assured her with an incredulous shake of his head. What outsiders didnât see was another story entirely, but the Southern Circles had no place in telling any stories based in fact or otherwise about Tevinter.
â Did these stories have details and originality, or were they all the typical tales that we eat babies in order to strengthen our magic and, oh I donât know⌠that we burn orphanages down for fun? â He was genuinely curious, as stupid and irritating as the knowledge of these âghastly storiesâ was⌠it was more irritating to not know what was said about his beloved homeland. Â
