Thanks to 🍸 @thewhiskeymcgee • • • • • First time working with this wild but delicious Patagonia spirit called TRÄ-KÁL. The spirit closest to this is probably brandy, so I decide to give this a try in a Viuex Carre riff. ______________________ “Plaza Vieja” - 1 oz @drinktrakal - 1 oz @widow_jane Oak and Applewood Aged Rye Whiskey - 3/4 oz @giuliococchi Vermouth di Torino - 1/2 oz Benedictine Liqueur - 1-2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters - 1-2 dashes @thebittertruthcompany Bogarts Bitters ______________________ Patagonian apples, crab-apples, and pears create the base alcohol. During the second distillation, native berries: maqui, murta, and sauco are added. To overcome the hurdle of seasonally-grown herbs, the master distiller’s mother suggested making essential oils from each wild herb varietal in order to capture their essence year-round. A proprietary blend of these essential oils: tepa, laurel, mint, paramela, and canelo are vapour-infused on the third distillation — giving the spirit a truly unique flavour and viscosity. You’ve really got to taste this for yourself. ______________________ #Trakal #TrakalCocktails #cocktails #Patagonia #Patagonian #imbibegram #liqpic #vieuxcarre #makeyourownpath #mixology #classiccocktails #riff #experimentation #clearice #theworlds50bestcocktails #tw50bc https://www.instagram.com/p/B6o-s9ho_ra/?igshid=tgh1j8olau5m
