#trait mods

To honor the traits project, I looked at Workaholic effects for Sims 3 on Sims 3 wiki. Workaholic in Sims 3 complete homework 27.8 faster. I rounded up, but with this mod, workaholic teens and kids complete their homework faster: 8 points per loop out of 100 instead of 6 points per loop out of 100.

This is two mods inside the zip "ys2g_trait_reactions_controllers"

Both are controllers that push worrying animations on Neurotic Sims and Crying animations on Over Emotional Sims.

You can still keep my "extreme emotions" for the Insane effects, but I couldn't really get Sims to autonomously cry and worry with global BHAVS for desperation.

So here ya go! No conflicts and your Neurotic and Over Emotional Sims should worry and cry respectively. Totally autonomous!

If you want to edit how often they cry or worry, it takes editing a BHAV and I'd be happy to show you how if you DM me.

This mod is an edit of the Cheer Up Enabled mod from Inseminator where it unlocked the interaction to "Cheer Up" other Sims.

I like it to be a restricted interaction, so this mod restricts it by traits.

Mood factors in and then the only traits that can "Cheer Up" Sims are Sims with the Good trait, Schmoozer, or Friendly.

This mod also edits the "Set Result" BHAV for Cheering up.

Grumpy Sims will always reject this interaction, Easily Impressed will always accept. If Sims don't have these traits, it depends on mood and relationship like most socials.

This mod also edits the "Social and Relationship Change" BHAV.

Charismatic and Schmoozer Sims will gain more relationship with Sims using "Cheer Up".

Already had this mod from my previous crafting adventures!

When crafting at the toybench, Sims will sometimes craft "evil" versions of toys if their badge level is low. The water wiggler will spawn weeds and puddles everywhere, the kite will electrocute... etc etc.

This mod edits "Make Evil Craft Obj" BHAV and adds trait checks alongside the badge check.

It also checks a Sim's aspiration level and subtracts a bonus if the Sim's aspiration level is high! (unmodded)

What I did is this: the BHAV rolls a random number from 0 to 200 and if this number is less than the Sim's "score", an evil object is made. Subtracting points from their score decreases odds, increasing points increases odds.

Eccentric -20 points

Unlucky +25 points

Absent Minded +15 points

Evil +35 points

This mod fleshes out the Athletic trait in the Sims 2 (using 3t2 trait objects by Hexagonal Bipyramid) (Clumsy and Couch Potato are in there too)

Athletic Toddlers can escape cribs! Athletic Sims will enjoy basketball more! Athletic Sims will never fall during Yoga!

These two BHAVS and associated TPRP code for the Exercise Bike. Athletic Sims will use the Exercise Bike autonomously if their needs are okay. As per HB's code, they will have better motive drain and learn Body quicker. Thus, these lines of code incorporate this traits mod by HB themselves (the Workout Pack). These code for playing basketball. Athletic Sims will lose less Hygiene and Energy from playing basketball and gain more Fun. They will gain Body skill faster. Athletic Sims or Sims into the Fitness hobby may play basketball autonomously.

Interaction - Yoga 0x100B, Interaction - Yoga - TEST 0x1009, Group: Ox7F3D1866

These are Yoga BHAVS. Clumsy Sims have a high chance of falling if their Body skill is 5/10 or less. Athletic Sims never fall. Athletic Sims are also able to do Yoga regardless of their Body skill level. They will do Yoga autonomously if their needs aren't shot.

Body Skill - Start 0x100D Group: 0x7F6E2283

This codes for children playing on the playground “look out” structure. Athletic children learn Body skill faster!

Put in Crib - Cry to Get Out 0x200E Group: 0x7F890CAC

This codes for toddler Sim behavior inside a crib. Unmodded, the code makes sure the toddler can walk and then allows them to escape the crib. My mod enables Athletic toddlers to be able to escape even if they haven't learned to walk. Also checks for Fun motive and Active personality.

Work Out - Find good Spot 0x2007 Group: 0x7F92832C

This is me incorporating this mod from MTS to hopefully allow Sims to work out using the television easier.

Interaction - Use - TEST 0x2007 Group: 0x7F9AB517

This is code in the group "Exercise Machine Globals" so it should affect darn near everything fitness-related?? I'm not sure. Athletic Sims, or Sims into the Fitness hobby, will autonomously exercise.

The Excitable Trait in the Sims 3. Meant to denote that this Sim gets excited over things that other Sims don’t. Kinda the same as Easily Impressed? Just a happy easily amused person.

Having trouble translating that to Sims 2.

Here’s what I have so far:

Excitable Sims are the only ones who will “Leap into Arms” autonomously.

Excitable Sims will be the only ones to do the “Leap into Arms” interaction after a proposal (not my mod)

Excitable Sims get a mood boost over other Sims (I can add this to HB’s Wannabe Moodlets)

Exciteable Sims gain fun from simpler things, such as chatting with Sims and talking on the phone

I like it so far. The main point of Excitable trait in the Sims 3 is to help a Sim’s mood. Excitable Sims get their own special moodlet. I think the Wannabe Moodlets idea will work perfectly for this main effect.
