Happy Springfest!

It was a rare treat contribute to @springfest-rote‘s amazing collection of art and fan fiction, and I was sincerely grateful to @tragediegh’s patience and creativity in this collaboration. Their fiction, “Concerning Grief and Eldest Daughters” can be found here:

This accompanying illustration is Nettle, burdened with responsibility and purpose, but lightened by love and connection. She’s a firm favourite among the Hobb’s characters for me. The impetus to draw her in a tender and heavy moment was a boon.

okay you know actually that's fair even with my erratic use of spotify. while i can't say that most of these have actually been listened too all that much lately barring a few of them, it's a pretty decent cross section of my usual listening tastes lol

Back in September 2023, our wonderful @tragediegh was going through a rough patch after the loss of a family one, and to cheer her up I commissioned from THE GOATED and stunning ROTE artist @oexas.

This artwork is from Chapter 22 from the Opus Magnus of ALL our hearts, Of Cats and Closed Doors. Beloved is inviting for the first time Fitz into his warmth. A key milestone within ROTE's war and peace fiction (not that anyone's complaining :P).

This story @tragediegh is developing has touched all our lives in the community, because it warms us from within, and I know has been a huge source of cozy comfort of fantasy domesticity that we all need in our trying times.
