If you're not from America or the Midwest, let me teach you about the wonderful thing that I love:
That's right, folks--tractor pulls. Now, I bet you're wondering, "what the f@#k, 1120!?!? why show us this!?!? why is this a thing????!!!!???"
Well, one: I figured y'all never seen this before. And two: I wanted to show you some POWER.
The motor/engine itself is powerful, and they come from simis, kids. Some parts of the engine is part of an every👏day👏car👏 (like your pistines and cilicones(DISCLAIMER: THAT'S NOT HOW YOU SPELL IT BUT I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT) and some other parts), topping at speeds from 0 to 50-75 or 100 in 8 or 12 seconds on a track the reaches 300 yards. If you go pass 300 to a 330 yards, that's a full pull, making you leader. Also, you're in a pull off, which redoing the thing again.
And there are more than tractors, too! There are trucks. Diesel engine trucks, which are also powerful. They hale down and f a s t.
There is more horse power in a single mini-rod than you'll ever dream. Like, they are loud, fast, and also powerful. The are so fast the the front end gets lifted up and you're RIDING on the BACK TIRE.
But, let me tell you why this is a thing.
From my understanding (this being my third year coming with my uncle, grandpa, and cousin), this brings car junkies, racers, dreamers, and tractor lovers together. A single event last 4 HOURS, and I love it. I don't know much about engines, but my grandfather tells me this stuff. Also, there's different people, both racer and watcher, who enjoy this. All sharing the love of racing and power of the motor.
There is so much math in this that i cant even tell you. If you want to go far, start slow then go fast at the 200-250 yard mark. Each himi must be fired at the right time, right place, at the right moment to go far. If you start too fast, you'll blow something or end short.
I love this because I get to learn about engines and how they are built. It takes so little time to pull, but it's the long hale that makes things worth it.
