"We follow the comet," Dany told her khalasar. Once it was said, no word was raised against it. They had been Drogo's people, but they were hers now. The Unburnt, they called her, and Mother of Dragons. Her word was their law.

“the only female wolf, khaleesi”
in a scientific breakthrough colossal biosciences said it has brought back an extinct animal that last walked the earth roughly 10,000 years ago: the dire wolf. three dire wolf pups were successfully born using DNA from ancient dire wolf fossils and genes from their closest living relative, the grey wolf. the wolf pups were aptly named - the 2 male wolves were named romulus and remus after the roman myth and the only female wolf, khaleesi.

she was fourteen...
꩜
Well she's played by a grown woman why wouldnt people draw her as a grown woman 😐
There's nothing truly that gets on my nerves more than this sort of thinking just ruined my whole happy day brethren. "They cast an adult actress" is irrelevant to the actual character. Fanart of Daenerys is fanart of Daenerys, not Emilia Clarke. Her being a child is fundamental to the horror and tragedy of her storyline I'd argue its of the most important parts of her character is how horrifyingly young she was when all of this happened. What a child looks like matters to the story. That is the version of Daenerys who endured those events. Aging her up visually changes the severity of what she went through. Thinking about and imagining what she went through should churn your stomach and moreso that this little girl is who people are calling "mother" but imagining her as a fully grown woman is softening the blow.
In the words of the illustrious @moonsandsmiles "everyone forgets she was a child and not only sexualize her to hell and back (thanks for the graphic assault descriptions and copious nudity, George), they also treat her as an adult, and judge her decisions more harshly"

The next post lol on the Targaryen Foolishness about Prophecy.
Okay so the prince that was promised.
This is a prince. Not a king. Either the dynasty ends before this guy inherits, OR he has someone in front of him in the line of inheritance (ignoring the potential gender ambiguity of Valyrian word for prince used in this case). Rhaegar this means it ain't you. Or your eldest son.
See 1: You don't want this guy to be first in line for the throne, just near enough that he gets called a prince.
PROMISED TO WHOM. AND FOR WHAT. If you don't know, then maaaaaybe don't start forcing the conditions for the promise to be fulfilled, perhaps?
Okay say this is a mighty hero that will save all of Westeros with a single sweep of a sword and a bonk on the head to the enemy with a shield. Sure. Great guy. Horrible threat. << HORRIBLE THREAT. Unless you know exactly what that horrible threat is, why are you trying to pull the Anti-That into existence sooner? If the PTWP exists to fight the threat, the threat must be around at the same time as the PTWP, so you're trying to bring both of them to the timeline faster. Maybe don't try to pull the Horrible Threat into existence sooner than it would otherwise, if you didn't arrange your life and marriages around creating the PTWP?
This is actually 4a. If the prophecy is from Aegon the Conqueror's time, IT IS NOT ABOUT THE BLACKFYRES. Your petty succession disputes are not why he conquered 6 kingdoms (and aimed for Dorne)! Blackfyres are - at worst - the same as Targaryens but 'evil'. Any normal Targaryen can handle that! (If they're reasonably good at fighting. Like any warrior king.) Targaryens have been fighting Targaryens in deathmatches since Maegor! This is normal now.
Again, promised to whom. For all you know this is the prince promised to the bad guy! To save the horrible threat from all of Westeros trying to survive! Therefore, BEING the horrible threat himself! Stop trying to fast forward the apocalypse!
finally we reach a new soapbox. Jae2 and Shaera didn't have to be married to create the PTWP, they could marry their children (by other spouses to create said children) to each other, and that would be a perfectly fine cousin marriage.
OR if they (what, somehow?) only found out about the prophecy centering on them (please imagine dramatic swooning of importance for effect) after they married each other, they could still (better, even!) convince Aerys and Rhaella that after they married (other people), their kids should marry! [Plus then Aerys would've, if Rhaella had a daughter, had a Targaryen Blooded Bride for his Son. But again, weird weird madness gradually showing up etc etc it may not have seemed important enough to him at the time for Jae2 and Shaera to have trusted him to do it.]
See 8, marrying the child of Aerys and his Not-Rhaella Queen wife and the child of Rhaella and her Not-Aerys Lord husband would get you Aerys and Rhaella's line joined again. But tbh it seems like (aside from Elaena? and Daenerys Now-Martell?) most Targaryens that marry out have their kids marry back in fairly quickly (Daella->Aemma, Rhaenys the Queen that Never Was and both her kids now that I think about it). It would be pretty normal for Rhaella's daughter to marry the next Crown Prince. Especially if she married a Velaryon.
OR it's just a 'btw, congrats, you and your sister will have your descendant lines both make it to the apocalypse! Not all of your relatives have been able to claim the same, so that's quite an accomplishment!' And Jaehaerys's and Shaera's descendants would've eventually married someday and oopsie daisies would you look at that, there's a HORRIBLE THREAT approximately 20 years after their marriage (and 18th-20th birthday of their son).
Or worse... 'TPTWP will come from your line' and its a warning. They could've prevented the Long Night by not joining their lines, or ending one of them (one goes to the Faith or just. Has no kids via other reasons), but they just were too high on main character syndrome and thought that TPTWP showing up would be a good thing.
But OH MY GOD if you don't know what exactly the prophecy is promising, and no I don't consider "I translated it very good, I know everything because I'm blessed by the god of hubris" to be a sufficient exactness, DON'T TRY TO BRING IT INTO BEING! Thank you for coming to my TedTalk of not trusting prophecies 😆.
And Aegon5, I do think that if he knew about the Aerys/Rhaella marriage at least even in time to stop the bedding, I think he could've written to the High Septon to get the marriage set aside. Honestly, maybe even for Jaehaerys and Shaera too, Targaryen kings seem to be able to push random stuff through if they really want to. And the High Septon may even have been willing to do it and set aside the Doctrine of Exceptionalism (caveat, unless there are dragons again living but they're literally ALL extinct now and have been for a dragon's lifetime), because the Faith definitely frowns on sibling marriages. A lot. Possibly even the stepmother-stepson remarriage of the... Tyrells? with Samantha Tarly? back in the Dance era. Uncle/niece seems vaguely disapproved of too. So I feel like getting a 'win' over the Targaryen dynasty may have been a benefit to the High Septon, in addition to just stopping Jaehaerys and Shaera from insulting the Great House of the Reach (Tyrell is where Shaera was betrothed, right? And that's the almost-as-close-as-Hightower house to benefactoring the Faith, I think. Or at least, they and the Hightowers are sorta in a mutually beneficial liege-lord relationship, and the Hightowers support the Faith).
