It’s times like these, more and more often lately, that I actually remember how big Taylor is. It blows my mind a little, I’ve been a swiftie since 2008, and I still forget all the time that she isn’t the small artist she used to be. I know her music so thoroughly and it’s been in my life for so long that I almost forget that it exists on a level outside of myself. Sometimes it feels like her music just lives in my chest, just for me. And I guess that’s the magic of it, isn’t it? Because everyone else feels that way too. But as much as her music feels like home, she’s risen to a height that will cement her in music history, forever. She’s a legend. And that’s always going to blow my mind.
