1. most alphas grew up in a post-traditional alpha-centric culture. This culture puts less emphasis on breeding and growing a family/pack, which has also led to a reevaluation of omegas as well. Omegas in this society took back their agency, both physically and mentally, which led to them also taking back their sexualities, leading to them being over-sexualized and seen as recreational objects.

2. this alpha is surrounded by like-minded alphas, this isn't the mentality of a lone wolf, which is sort of very dangerous.

3. *bad alpha meets *bad omega it's explosive, wild, dangerous, and yes, very toxic. But it makes them learn something, and even though they don't stay together, they both become a little bit better.

4. *bad alpha falls in love for the first time. Previously they didn't believe in love, this is...big for them. They see things differently now.

5. alpha falls for a beta...enough said.

6. alpha is very possessive of their omega, to the point where the omega's mental health begins to suffer because they are kept inside and away from other people.

7. alpha who has several omegas as a harem, doesn't care about any of them. Often takes out their aggressions with them, etc.

Ooooo. Let's dig into it.

Toxic Masculinity comes from a place of insecurity, from worrying that you'll never be a "real man" so you grossly overcompensate. You feel powerless so you force yourself to appear powerful over others, you're out of control so you do anything to control the people around you.

To write someone with this *condition* you need to remember that they appear the most toxic when they feel like they're not in control of their situation, at the bottom of a power dynamic, etc.. In situations where they are able to get to the top of the food chain, they preen and gloat and start showing off, but they also relax.

I'm not a man, so I can't tell you for sure, but in my experience, if you give them the illusion of control that's when they're the most vulnerable. For both the best and worst.

If you want to change him, you'll have to deceive him into thinking he's in control the whole time. Let him fall in love with you and fight it, let him do things for you "because that's what a man does", let him plan everything (and give him a lot to plan), constantly challenge his idea of a man with your own.
